Raipur. The cabinet led by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has been expanded. Today 9 ministers of the government have taken oath today. In which the name of Omprakash Chaudhary (OP Chaudhary) is also included. OP Choudhary has previously been Collector. After which he entered politics. However, he had to face defeat in the first assembly elections. He was the BJP candidate from Kharsia seat. In this assembly election, he was fielded from Raigarh assembly. In which he became MLA by winning with a record number of votes. Now he will work as the minister of Chhattisgarh. In this episode, today had a special conversation with OP Chaudhary’s wife Aditi Patel. Regarding her journey from IAS to becoming a leader and now a minister, Aditi said that I feel that the role of a mother is more than the role of wives. Man is already carved. What you are seeing now are role changes. There is no change in humans. I don’t see much of my contribution in this. My support is just that I only support their decision. He said that his (OP Chaudhary) role does not bring much changes in him. Even when he was a bureaucrat, he used to do the same work. Even now he continues to do so. So there is not much of a major shift… He said that there is not much difference between the bureaucrat, the defeated BJP candidate and Minister OP Choudhary. This is his specialty. These three are the same. Wherever he lives, in whatever role he plays, he always wants to give his best. He further said that OP is young, has energy, whatever role is given to him, he should give his 100 percent and 10 percent more. Because he got the responsibility so soon. Being a resident of Chhattisgarh, I have the same expectations from him.
Regarding Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Aditi said that women empowerment is a main issue in the country as well as in Chhattisgarh. No matter how much things change, there is still a lot left to do. In this, I see the Mahtari Vandan Yojana as a good step in that direction. He further said that BJP’s focus always remains on governance. Relies on infrastructure creation. Which is necessary for the long-term development of any state. So I support such culture and hope that Chhattisgarh, which is a developing state, has a lot of potential, and moves forward.
Regarding youth and women, he said that whatever change happens, youth are the main drivers of it. However, women have not yet got such a role, hence a lot remains to be done in the society. However, as a society, we should also keep women empowerment at our core.
