Durg. Last night in Mohan Nagar police station area, the accused killed Rohit Kumar Thakur by throwing a stone on his head over a minor dispute. On receiving information about the incident, Mohan Nagar police station has registered a case and arrested the accused.
Police station in-charge Monika Pandey said that Rohit Kumar Thakur was lying down in front of the house of Yogesh Sona, son of Bhagwan Singh Sona, 33 years old resident of Sikola Bhata, in a drunken state. Yogesh Sona tried to remove him. During this, a dispute broke out between the two. When the dispute escalated, the accused Yogesh got angry and picked up a stone and threw it on Rohit’s head.Due to this fatal attack, Rohit Kumar Thakur died on the spot. After getting the information about the incident, Mohan Nagar police immediately reached the spot. The body was sent for postmortem and the accused was arrested.
