Discussion on various agenda concluded in the meeting
Dhamtari 27 October 2020. Under the chairmanship of Collector Jayprakash Maurya, a meeting of the district level committee constituted for the protection and rehabilitation policy given by the state government to the surrendered Naxalite and Naxal-affected families was held in which positive demands were discussed. Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Dr. Reshma Khan said that the demand of government land for livelihood was made by the applicants around the block headquarter city, which is still pending. On this, the Collector directed the Subdivisional Officer Revenue City to propose and select the government revenue land within a month. Similarly, there was a demand for free education in private schools of the students of the victim’s family. On which the Collector instructed the District Education Officer to take action as per the provision. Also, to provide benefits of skill development scheme, instructions were given to connect the families suffering from employment-oriented training programs. Apart from this, various agendas were also discussed in the meeting. On the occasion, the CEO of Zilla Panchayat Members of the victim’s family were present along with Mrs. Namrata Gandhi, Additional Collector Dilip Agarwal, Sub-Divisional Officer Manish Mishra and Sunil Sharma.
