Dhamtari 28 September 2020. Under the Integrated Child Development Project Dhamtari (Rural), a meeting of the Village Nutrition Health and Sanitation Committee was held in village panchayat Achhota. In this, five sources of nutrition ‘first golden one thousand days’,’ nutritious diet ‘,’ anemia ‘diarrhea’ and ‘hygiene and cleanliness’ were given in detail. Along with this, Rangoli depicting these five nutrition sutras was also made by Anganwadi workers.
On this occasion, district member Smt. Sarita Yadav insisted on making efforts to make Achhota Gram Panchayat free of malnutrition. He appealed to pregnant and infant mothers including children to take advantage of hot cooked food. Similarly, Sarpanch Shri Arun Dewangan also appealed to the villagers to maintain cleanliness and cleanliness. He also explained how to follow social distancing and compulsorily use masks to protect against Kovid 19. It is worth noting that September is being celebrated as ‘National Nutrition Month’. During this time, activities like Rangoli, wall writing etc. are being done to reflect nutrition. Supervisor of Achhota Sector, Mrs. Sarla Mishra, ANM, Mitanin, Anganwadi worker and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
