Kawardha. MLA of the area and Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Vijay Sharma, on the completion of one year of his MLAship, calling it historic and successful, dedicated this achievement to the public and expressed gratitude to the public. On this occasion, he discussed the development work done in the area and future plans. During this, Sharma said, suggestions are being taken from regional public representatives to make Kawardha assembly constituency a role model in the state. Work has started towards the proper development and beautification of Kawardha Nagar Palika of this region.
Before this, Deputy Chief Minister Sharma performed special prayers at Baba Bhoramdev Temple and the famous Khedaapati Hanuman Temple of Kawardha, places of historical, archaeological, religious and tourist importance in Chhattisgarh, and sought blessings for the prosperity and well-being of the region. He said that it is the result of your participation and trust that our first year has been full of historic achievements in the direction of development and public welfare. On this occasion, the people and public representatives of the region gave a grand welcome to Deputy Chief Minister Sharma and wished him. Railway projects are growth opportunities
Due to the efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Sharma, an amount of Rs 300 crore was sanctioned for the Dongargarh-Kabirdham-Mungeli-Katghora railway line in the 20th meeting of the Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Fund Advisory Committee chaired by the Chief Minister. This project will prove to be helpful in building infrastructure and economic development in the region. Due to the special efforts of the Deputy Chief Minister, the Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned Rs 306.23 crore for the establishment of a medical college in Kawardha, a long-awaited demand of the district. This project will play an important role in improving the health sector of the district and generating new opportunities for medical education. Establishment of a medical college in Kawardha region will not only provide new opportunities for medical education to the youth, but will also provide better health services to the people of the region.
Preparations underway to make Kawardha assembly constituency a role model in the state
While discussing, Deputy Chief Minister Sharma said that in Kawardha Assembly constituency, from the forest area Chilfi to the plain village Nirodi, from Daldali to Rengakhar, Khara, in every Gram Panchayat, work is being done on the concept of development and expansion of basic and basic facilities keeping in view the demands of public buildings. Suggestions are being taken from regional public representatives to make Kawardha Assembly constituency a role model in the state. Work has been started towards proper development and beautification of Kawardha Nagar Palika of this region. Similarly, the concept of development will be realized for Bodla, Sahaspur Lohara, Pipariya Nagar Panchayats.
Youth will get opportunities to make their mark at national and international level
Emphasizing on the all-round development of the youth of the district, Sharma said that 24 new mini stadiums are being built in the district. “These stadiums will provide the youth with an opportunity to hone their sports talent and make a mark at the national and international level. This initiative is our resolve to take sports to every village. The construction of pending irrigation schemes Ghatola, Jagmadwa, Kharoda reservoir in the district has gained momentum. Work has been started towards smooth traffic by approving crores of rupees for the upgradation, renovation and maintenance of roads damaged for years in forest areas. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma expressed his resolve to make Kawardha Assembly a role model in the field of education, agriculture, industry, irrigation and sports activities. He said that irrigation projects will increase the income of farmers, while the development of sports facilities will provide opportunities to the youth to make a mark at the national and international level.
