The case of Mandir Hasaud police station area, the incident of account hack of steel company has come to the fore

Raipur02 april 2023. The incident of account hack of steel company located in Mandir Hasaud police station area of the capital Raipur has come to light. In which the hacker hacked the LinkedIn account of the company and removed the job recruitment. After which a large number of unemployed filled the form for the job. The accused collected money online from the unemployed in the name of registration fees. After which Mandir Hasaud police arrested hacker Deepu Singh (29).

Mahendra Kumar Singh, senior manager of JSW Steel Company, told the police that someone hacked the LinkedIn account of a former employee of his company. That employee has resigned from the company in 2016, but with the help of his account someone tampered with the website of the company. The hacker removed recruitment for different posts in the name of the company. For which he also issued an online advertisement. He also kept a registration fee of Rs 750 per person for recruitment to these posts. After which many unemployed people saw this advertisement and transferred the registration fee money to the hacker’s bank account along with the form to get the job.

When the management of the company came to know about this incident, they were shocked. He immediately complained about it to the police. After which the police collected the account information given to send the farm money. Along with this, the numbers found in the investigation were got investigated by cyber experts. After which the location of the accused was shown in Kabir Nagar, Raipur. Immediately the police laid siege and arrested Deepu Singh. The accused is a resident of Siwan district of Bihar. The police have also seized a mobile phone from him.
