Raipur, 13 march 2023 The Congress marched to the Raj Bhavan on Monday on the Adani issue in the capital Raipur. The leaders protested accusing the Adani Group and the central government of nexus. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel addressed the gathering at Ambedkar Chowk. After this, the group of leaders went towards the Raj Bhavan. A memorandum was submitted to the governor demanding an inquiry into the Adani group.
CM Bhupesh said- Adani was at number 609 and after a few months became the second richest person in the world. But something was published in Hindenburg after which their lions fell with a bang. During the question on Adani issue in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, the speech of both Rahul Gandhi and Kharge is removed from the record. Why is it not investigated? Markam said – ‘Hum do hamare do’ government at the center
Today, a program of siege of Raj Bhavan has been organized across the country. The Modi government at the center is working to save the Adani group. Our demand is that the group should be investigated. He further said that in the center ‘Hum do hamare do ki sarkar hai’ Modi ji used to say na khaunga na khane dunga, but Modi ji himself is eating and feeding his friends as well.
Markam further said that it is often said in the PM’s speech that the country is changing, but the reality is that the country is being sold. Our demand is that the assets of LIC State Bank and other banks which have been invested in them with the hard earned money of the country and the money of the general public. May their money be safe. The Congress party is fighting the battle of the common people. We demand the Central Government through His Excellency the Governor that Adani’s companies should be investigated.
After addressing the gathering at Ambedkar Chowk, a group of Congress leaders left for the Raj Bhavan march. A delegation of 11 Congress leaders including State President Mohan Markam met Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan. By submitting a memorandum, the Congress leaders demanded that the Adani Group be investigated by His Excellency.

Modi government of the BJP is selling the country’s vital infrastructure
