In fact, on May 5, two examination centers were set up in Balod district for NEET, the biggest examination in the medical field. During this period, a total of 391 candidates were first given the wrong exam paper and after 45 minutes, the question paper was changed and given the correct question paper, saying that the wrong question paper was distributed. But despite such gross negligence, the candidates were not given extra time even after demanding. After this gross negligence, the families of the students created a ruckus regarding the loss.

Now the Congress delegation has reached Raj Bhavan and submitted a memorandum in this matter. During this, Congress General Secretary in-charge Malkit Singh Gaindu, Balod MLA Sangeeta Sinha, Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, spokesperson Vikas Tiwari met the Governor and discussed the demands of the affected students.

In this matter, the MLA of the concerned area Sangeeta Sinha said that such negligence in the national level examination is playing with the future of the candidates, which needs to be investigated. There is anger among the candidates and parents due to this incident. Keeping in mind the compensation for the loss caused to them, it would be fair for the affected candidates to re-conduct the examination or to provide them bonus marks in lieu of the time lost.
He further said – We have requested the Governor to initiate arrangements for re-conducting the examination for the affected candidates or providing them bonus marks and will take pains to direct an investigation into the said incident.
