Raipur. Former Speaker of Chhattisgarh Assembly Dharamlal Kaushik has targeted Congress over the incident of suicide of farmer Heera Carpenter in village Kukrajhor of Narayanpur district. He said that, we have been saying for 5 years that Congress has forced the farmers to commit suicide by trapping them in the web of debt. Further, Dharamlal Kaushik said, it is a very serious matter that under the rule of Congress, they were disappointed by drowning in debt. Farmers are still suffering the sins of Congress. There has just been a change in the state and a farmer trapped in debt has committed suicide during the Congress rule. Former Assembly Speaker Kaushik said that the Congress government cheated the farmers of the state. They crossed all limits of injustice and left them to die. Kaushik also said that Congress has no match in political maneuvers. In 5 years, the condition of farmers became so bad that they kept embracing death. This heartbreaking incident of farmer’s suicide that has come to light is extremely unfortunate. On this too, Congress has announced an inquiry committee while playing cheap politics. Congress should investigate that if farmers under the burden of debt are still committing suicide under their government, then what action should be taken against those running the Congress government. Congress has continuously committed the sin of farmer suicide and now by constituting this so-called inquiry committee, it has confessed that a debt-ridden farmer has committed suicide during its government. When the leaders of the Congress government kept shouting that they have given money to the farmers, then why did the farmers become debtors and why are they forced to commit suicide?
