The Chhattisgarh Congress delegation has complained to the Election Commission on Tuesday against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Congress alleges that Shah gave an inflammatory speech in Rajnandgaon on Monday. Which is a violation of the code of conduct. Shah’s statement is not only objectionable but its purpose is to incite communal violence in the peaceful state of Chhattisgarh.
Congress state communication chief Sushil Anand Shukla said that the statement given by the Home Minister to incite frenzy with the intention of electoral gains is absolutely false. In that case, the government took immediate action and arrested the accused and sent them to jail. But Amit Shah, dejected by his defeat, now wants to resort to communalism. ‘Misrepresentation in speech to incite riot’
The complaint states that senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and country’s Home Minister Amit Shah made false statements in his speech at the nomination meeting of party candidate Dr Raman Singh from Rajnandgaon with the aim of inciting riots. He had raised questions on the government in the murder case in Biranpur of Bemetara district.
Shah had said that ‘Bhupesh Baghel government lynched Chhattisgarh’s son Bhuvneshwar Sahu for appeasement and vote bank politics. Shah had said that ‘Bharatiya Janata Party has decided that we will bring the murderers of Bhuvaneshwar Sahu to justice and as a symbol of this, his father Ishwar Sahu has been fielded in the election. An attempt to make political gains on the incident’
Congress has also said in the complaint that the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah has tried to incite communal tension for the purpose of religious polarization. Leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party in Chhattisgarh are continuously trying to make political gains on Biranpur incident by deliberate conspiracy. Clear violation of model code of conduct.
It has been said in the complaint that the investigation in the case has been completed, the charge sheet has been filed in the court, the decision of the lower court has also come. The attempt by the Home Minister of the country to incite hysteria against him for the purpose of communal polarization is a clear violation of the Model Code of Conduct. Congress has demanded strict action against Shah as well as Raman Singh and Arun Sao.
