Some leaders, including Patan MP candidate Vijay Baghel and Bijapur BJP leader Mahesh Gagda, had arrived with a complaint on November 24. Katara is accused of supporting the Congressmen during the code of conduct and elections and also campaigned for them. The leaders have demanded that they should be kept away from the counting of votes, no action was taken even after the complaint.

Mahesh Gagda, who reached Raipur Election Officer, said that even before the implementation of the code of conduct, we were complaining about the Bijapur Collector but no action was taken. We have been getting information that his role was constantly suspicious and that he was under the influence of Congress.

All those who have faith in democracy and the election process complained. The Collector is going to the MLA’s residence and holding a meeting with him. Every effort has been made to disturb the elections. They should be removed before counting and should also be kept separate from the work of counting. If this does not happen then the public will lose faith in fair elections. Congress propaganda claims.
Date wise, BJP has made serious allegations in its complaint letter. It has been written that- Bijapur Collector Rajendra Katara was campaigning for Congress on 6 October. On October 27, he was supporting the local Congress MLA. On November 2, BJP was treated in a partisan manner.

On November 10, the serial numbers of EVM machines were not given. BJP also claimed irregularities in booth number 175 of Bijapur and said that its count should not be considered valid. He also says that information about how much voting took place in which booth has not been given.

Congress said- BJP is afraid of defeat
Congress has hit back at this complaint. Party spokesperson Dhananjay Thakur says that Bharatiya Janata Party is losing the elections badly in the state. The people of the state rejected Modi’s guarantee and trusted the Congress manifesto. According to the trends after voting, Congress is winning more than 75 seats. BJP also has a struggle to save 13 seats.

Thakur further said that out of fear of the central leadership, BJP is accusing the officials in this way. Wants to blame the defeat on the officials. BJP should accept that the people have rejected them and BJP had no face before Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, BJP is just making excuses.
