Raipur . Divisional Commissioner Mahadev Kavre visited rural areas of Bilaspur, Mungeli and Janjgir-Champa districts. He directed to immediately remove procurement in-charge Bhuvaneshwar Sahu after irregularities were found in weighing at Chandkhuri paddy procurement centre in Mungeli district. Mahadev Kavre has sent a letter to the Assistant Registrar Cooperative and asked to suspend the centre in-charge responsible for the irregularities.
During the inspection, Commissioner Kavre got the paddy weighed in his presence. The 40 kg sack weighed 41.33 kg. Anita Sahu, supervisor of the Women and Child Development Department of village Amartal Tehsil Akaltara of Janjgir-Champa district has been suspended with immediate effect. Gave instructions to the Assistant Registrar Cooperative to remove and suspend the center in-charge. Took information about the progress of the summary revision of the electoral roll in Rahangi of Bilaspur district and inspected the mid-day meal. Also visited Hirri Paddy Procurement Center. CCTV camera has not been installed there yet. The Commissioner gave instructions to install a camera in the procurement center, weigh paddy only in the prescribed quantity and take care of the facilities of the farmers in the center.
