Collector Rahul Dev conducted a block-wise in-depth review of the progressing, completed, incomplete and unstarted works of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission in the meeting room of the District Panchayat. He gave instructions to start the pending works under PM Awas Yojana soon and to complete the ongoing housing construction work quickly and do geo tagging. The Collector also reprimanded many technical assistants for the slow progress in housing construction work.
He took information about the status of land dispute, recovery of amount and transfer of installment amount under the housing scheme and gave instructions to take necessary action by providing the list of deceased and migrated beneficiaries to the District Panchayat within two days. Collector said that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a priority work of the government, all the technical assistants should visit the field and bring progress in the work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He instructed the CEOs of all the District Panchayats to do regular monitoring and take strict action against the concerned field staff who are negligent in their work. The Collector has taken up the total construction work of segregation shed, community toilet, soak pit and individual toilet in the district under Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin. Reviewed the acceptance and physical progress and gave necessary instructions. Giving strict instructions to the District Coordinator, he directed to start the started work of Swachh Bharat Mission and complete the ongoing work soon. This is the data wise information.
District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Prabhakar Pandey said that a total of 49225 houses have been approved in the district under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, out of which 42273 houses have been completed. He said that 2056 unfinished houses will be started soon and 6952 incomplete houses will be completed by bringing progress in the work. He also informed about the initiated and ongoing works of Swachh Bharat Mission and talked about taking necessary action.
