Some selfish elements have reported trying to mislead transport organizations and drivers by giving wrong information through fake letters. As soon as information about this was received, today Collector Chandan Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Jha met the representatives of the Drivers Association, Truck Drivers Association, Vehicle Owners Association and Bus Owners Association in the auditorium of the Joint District Office and cleared their doubts. In Raipur too, Chhattisgarh Driver General Organization has submitted a memorandum to the Raipur Collector and said to cancel the ‘Leave Steering’ campaign. Collector Chandan Kumar said that there is no need to be afraid of the rumors being spread by selfish elements by giving wrong information to the vehicle drivers. It has been made clear by the Union Home Ministry that before implementing the new law, any decision will be taken only after talking to the representatives of All India Motor Transport Congress. Drivers do not need to be misled or frightened in any way. In this regard, drivers have been appealed not to pay attention to any kind of rumours. Similarly, Superintendent of Police Deepak Jha said, drivers do not need to be afraid in any way. Everyone’s safety will be taken care of. Along with this, the SP said that the cyber police is keeping a close watch on those spreading rumors in such WhatsApp groups and other social media. During this, various problems were raised by the Drivers Association, on which the Collector, on behalf of the administration, assured to resolve them soon. Along with this, the entire drivers union has assured the administration that there will be no strike in any way.
On this occasion, District Transport Officer Bhupendra Gavre, Traffic TI Kujur, Vehicle Owners Association Sanjeev Singh, Bus Owners Association Manak Thakur, Ashok Jain, Subhash Chandra Drivers Association President Ravi Ghritalhare, General Secretary Raju Nishad and a large number of drivers were present. It is noteworthy that the Union Home Ministry has sent a letter to the All India Motor Transport Congress and made it clear that the concerned department of the Government of India will talk to the representatives of the All India Motor Transport Congress before implementing this law and only after that a decision will be taken. . Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla has issued a letter saying that before implementing Indian Judicial Code 106 (2), we will discuss with the representatives of All India Motor Transport Congress and only after that we will take any decision.
