Raipur. ACB-EOW has taken major action in the much talked about coal scam case. 5 accused who were collecting coal levy in different districts of the state have been arrested. Roshan Singh, Moinuddin Qureshi, Rahul Singh, Virendra Jaiswal and Parekh Kurre have been arrested. All of them used to work as coal levy for the gang while living in Raipur including Korba, Surajpur. EOW presented all the accused in a special court. According to the information, accused Moinuddin Qureshi father Sheikh Samsuddin Qureshi age 47 years has been arrested from Pachpedi Naka in Raipur. Parekh Kumar Kurre father Dilip Kumar Kurre was arrested from Mungeli. Rahul Singh father Ram Ekbal Singh was arrested from Bihar. Accused Roshan Kumar Singh father Ganesh Kumar Singh was arrested from district Aurangabad. Virendra Jaiswal father Shankar Jaiswal was arrested from Korba. EOW presented the accused in a special court and showed sufficient evidence of coal levy collection against all of them. All the accused have been active in the collection of illegal coal levy from the beginning in the current government. After interrogation of the accused, there is a possibility of disclosure of other big names.
