Instructions have been given to complete the construction work of super-specialty hospitals in Bilaspur and Jagdalpur of Chhattisgarh soon. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that these hospitals will be inaugurated by PM Modi in March. Sai has also given instructions to improve the ambulance service and reach the needy within 30 minutes.
CM Sai was holding a meeting related to the health department in the ministry on Friday. Deputy CM Arun Saav and Vijay Sharma were also present with him. The Chief Minister has asked Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain to monitor and provide quality health services to the citizens. Additional Chief Secretaries Renu Pillai and Subrata Sahu were also present in the meeting. Instructions to promote generic medicines
Dhanvantri generic medical stores running in the state will not be closed for the time being. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has made generic medicines available in all health centers and has instructed patients to prescribe only these. Also asked to promote the use of generic medicines.
Sai said that emphasis should be laid on the services being run for mental health. Make sure that the stock of medicines is completely available in all the hospitals. For this reason, it is believed that the current government is in no mood to close the generic medical store started during the time of the Congress government. According to the information received from departmental sources, there may definitely be a change in the name or form of the Dhanvantari Medical Store. . There are around 200 such generic medicine stores in the state. The Congress government had installed pictures of Bhupesh Baghel in these shops, these will be removed.
During the meeting, officers informed the Chief Minister about the plans of the Health Department. The officers also kept giving detailed details about the schemes being run in the previous government and their impact.
