All necessary arrangements including cap cover, drainage should be made in the procurement centers to protect the paddy from rain. The convenience of farmers should be taken care of at paddy procurement centers. Visit and inspect collector centers.
CM Bhupesh Baghel has instructed that the Collector should visit the paddy procurement centres. Check whether all the things required to keep the paddy safe are present or not. Where arrangements are less, arrangements should be made immediately.
More than 9 lakh tonnes of paddy in the centers
CM Bhupesh told the collectors that the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in Chhattisgarh in the coming days. There are more than 9 lakh tonnes of paddy in the procurement centers of the state. All districts should ensure that arrangements for safe storage of paddy are made in committees and procurement centres. It is mandatory to have these facilities.
CM Bhupesh said that in the paddy procurement centre, it is important to cover the paddy with cape cover, tarpaulin, the drainage should be correct and there should be no accumulation of water in the paddy. The collectors who have gone to visit the paddy procurement centers must check whether all the arrangements are in place.
