‘Dilemma of getting ration card removed, now Mitan will bring home this facility’
People will have to call the toll free number 14545 to make ration cards under the Mitan scheme started in 14 municipal corporations of the state. On this number, the facility of making documents like native, caste certificate is available sitting at home.

In Chhattisgarh, the Urban Administration Development Department has started the ‘Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana’, a home delivery service for citizens to get government documents done, from May 01, 2022, in all the 14 municipal corporations of the state. The services available under this scheme include birth certificate, correction in birth certificate, death certificate, correction in death certificate, domicile certificate, marriage registration and certificates.

The verified documents are then sent online to the concerned departments who issue the certificate after reviewing the documents pertaining to the applicant. After the certificate is issued, the certificate is delivered to the applicant’s house by the Mitan agent.
