CM announced that brave children will get Rs 50,000: Children who risked their own lives to save the lives of others were honoured.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has announced that the state government will give Rs 50,000 each to the brave boys and girls of the state. He made this announcement on Tuesday evening at the State Guest House Pahuna in Raipur. Here, on the occasion of Brave Children’s Day, a program was organized to honor four brave children of the state.

CM Sai honored Amar Jyoti Jahire of Korba, Chhaya Vishwakarma of Mahasamund, Janvi Rajput of Dhamtari and Bhameshwari Nirmalkar of Dhamtari with gallantry awards. The Chief Minister honored the children and encouraged them and announced that the state government will give Rs 50,000 each to the four brave boys and girls. In the program, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, four brave Sahibzadas sacrificed their lives. Paying respects to him, he said that his martyrdom inspires us. The brave Sahibzadas accepted to sacrifice their lives to protect the religion. Praising the courageous work of the four brave boys and girls of the state who were honored, he said that without caring for their lives, these children have saved the lives of their family members and friends. Patron of Chhattisgarh Civil Society, Dr. Purnendu Saxena, present in the program, said That it is our good fortune as a member of Chhattisgarh Civil Society that we are able to honor the brave children for the second consecutive year. Children have saved the lives of their loved ones by showing their intelligence, activeness and courage. Surely other children will also be inspired by their indomitable courage.

He also mentioned the efforts of Chhattisgarh Civil Society to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas. In the program, Sikh Granthi Amrik Singh gave the biographical introduction of those Sahibzadas in whose memory Veer Bal Diwas is celebrated. He said that we are proud that our gurus have taught us martyrdom and even today they are determined to protect the religion. Granthi Shri Singh congratulated the brave boys and girls and praised the initiative of the Central Government to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas to immortalize the sacrifices of their teachers. The brave children were felicitated by the Chief Minister.
Among the brave children honored, 15-year-old Amar Jyoti Zahire, resident of Korba district, saved his friend from drowning during a picnic without caring for his life. For this courageous act of Amar, he was awarded Sahibzada Ajit Singh Bravery Award. Similarly, 15 year old Chhaya Vishwakarma, resident of Mahasamund district, saved her sister’s life from a mad dog with her wisdom. He was awarded the Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Gallantry Award.

13 year old Janvi Rajput, resident of Kurud in Dhamtari district, showed courage and saved the life of her 5 year old brother who was electrocuted. He was awarded the Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Gallantry Award. Similarly, 12 year old Bhameshwari Nirmalkar of Dhamtari district displayed indomitable courage and saved two girls from drowning in the pond. He was awarded the Sahibzada Fateh Singh Gallantry Award.
