Chief Minister Sai interacted with the youth in Yuva Mahotsav, said- Success is achieved through loyalty, honesty and dedication

Addressing the youth at the Deendayal Auditorium in Science College on the occasion of the inauguration of Yuva Mahotsav today, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that all of you are the future of the country and the state. Take a dream about how you want to serve the country and the state, study with full dedication, honesty and devotion to achieve it. Chhattisgarh state has high-level educational institutions related to technology, medical, law, management. Nalanda campus in Raipur is open 24 hours a day for the youth to prepare for competitive exams. On the lines of Nalanda campus, we are also setting up hi-tech libraries in other districts of the state, where material will be available for the preparation of online-offline competitive exams.Referring to the success of Bastar Olympics organized to connect the youth of Bastar region with the mainstream of development of the country and the state, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised this event. Congratulating the youth on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, he said that in 1893, at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, America, Swami Vivekananda impressed the entire world with his lecture on the ideals, spirituality and philosophy of Sanatan Dharma.

At the beginning of his interaction with the youth, the Chief Minister, while answering the question of Apoorva Dixit of Ambikapur, said that many times in life such situations arise that the mind gets distracted, but we have to remain steadfast to achieve our goal. In this connection, he narrated a small story related to the life of Swami Vivekananda and said that Swami Vivekananda was going to Banaras with a sanyasi, at that time many monkeys surrounded Swami ji, in such a situation Swami ji neither got scared nor moved from his place. The result was that all the monkeys ran away. He appealed to the youth that we also have to remain steadfast to achieve our goal. All problems will be solved with determination.

In response to the questions of Shruti, a student of OP Jindal University, Raigarh, Chief Minister Sai said that we get success by choosing an area of ​​our own and working with full determination and dedication. Responding to Rajkumar Kureti’s questions regarding peace and development in Bastar, the Chief Minister said that the government is working with full commitment towards security and development in the five Naxal-affected districts of Bastar. The benefits of government schemes and programs are being ensured to the people through the establishment of 39 security camps in these districts and the Niyyad Nella Nar Yojana. He said that there is a double engine government in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have resolved to eliminate Naxalism from the country by 31 March 2026. With the commitment and strategy with which our government is working for the complete elimination of Naxalism, we feel that we will achieve this goal before the stipulated time period. The Chief Minister said that the people there are also actively ensuring their participation for the establishment of peace and development in Bastar. The participation of lakhs of youth in the organization of Bastar Olympics proves this.

While answering the question of Balodabazar student Mrinal Vajpayee about his journey from being the Chief Minister to becoming the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister said that he is a resident of Bagiya, a small village in Jashpur. Today, the population of his village is about two and a half thousand. The Chief Minister said that when he was 10 years old, his father passed away. The entire responsibility of the family fell on his mother. Mother is a fearless woman and handled the responsibility with great patience and fearlessness. Along with our upbringing and education, she took care of farming and household chores. We considered mother as our role model. Being the elder one, we took the responsibility of the house on ourselves. When my father passed away, my younger brother was only two months old. I taught my younger brothers. I started my public life as a Panch. I remained a Panch for five years. Seeing my good work and honesty, the people of the village elected me unopposed as Sarpanch. After six months, I got a ticket to contest the assembly elections and became MLA from Tapkara assembly constituency in 1990. The Chief Minister then mentioned his journey from becoming an MP, to becoming a Minister of State in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and then becoming the Chief Minister and said that whenever he was given any responsibility, he carried it out with full devotion and honesty.

He said that in political life, late Dilip Singh Judeo and former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee have been his role models. Referring to the opportunity of working with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that the way he has taken decisive decisions, he is not only my role model but also of the new generation.

On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tank Ram Verma, MLAs Rajesh Munat and Guru Khuswant Saheb, State Youth Commission Chairman Vishwa Vijay Singh Tomar, public representatives, youth achieving success in various fields were present in large numbers.
