Raipur, 11 January 2022.Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel paid floral tributes to the former Prime Minister of India, Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, on his death anniversary, on his death anniversary, at his residence office here today. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam was also present on the occasion.
Recalling the contribution of Shastri ji, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that he made an incomparable contribution in the Indian freedom struggle. He was an active participant in the important movements of the Indian freedom struggle and due to this he had to go to jail several times. His slogan of Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan, along with the sacrifice of the soldiers, also honored the hard work of the Annadata farmers. The Chief Minister said that Shastri ji has dedicated his entire life for the country, his values in life will always inspire everyone.
