Chhattisgarh: Two farmers died due to electric shock, mourning spreads in the village

Surajpur . A tragic incident has happened in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh. Where two farmers of Chandrapur village died due to electric shock. This incident has created a wave of mourning in the village. This entire matter is of Chandrapur village of Kotwali police station area

Actually, in Chandarpur village, the farmers had gone to their fields to cultivate pulses. During this, while returning, both of them suddenly came in contact with the current and died. It is being told that a shock machine (fencing wire) was installed to protect the crops from animals and the main line wire of electricity was touching the same wire. Both the farmers died on the spot due to coming in contact with the same wire.

On receiving the information about the incident, the Kotwali police reached the spot and after registering a case, started the investigation. In this case, the investigating officer SI Piyush Chandrakar said that in the first investigation, it seems that the death was due to electric shock. After Panchnama proceedings, the body has been sent for postmortem. The correct information will be available only after the postmortem report comes. He also said that the electricity collection in the field is being investigated by correspondence with the electricity department. If found wrong, action will also be taken against the farm owners.
