Raipur. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the Chhattisgarh government is working in a planned manner for the development of various sectors of the state. Due to the efforts of Chief Minister Sai, sectors like agriculture, education, medicine, employment, self-employment, technology and industry are constantly moving forward and are witnessing rapid growth. The schemes of the Chhattisgarh government are continuously strengthening the economy of the state. This is opening new avenues of progress in the state. Due to this, the purchasing power of the people of the state has increased, its effect is being seen in the automobile sector, where Chhattisgarh has left behind even the big states of the country.
In Chhattisgarh, 6 lakh 69 thousand 285 vehicles have been purchased from 1 January 2024 to 30 November 2024. As compared to the year 2023, Chhattisgarh has the highest growth rate of 18.57 percent in the automobile sector as compared to 35 states and union territories of the country during the same period. In terms of growth rate, Chhattisgarh is also ahead of states like Delhi 1.10, Uttar Pradesh 1.80, Madhya Pradesh 4.35, Bihar 2.40 and Rajasthan 2.57.
The government’s schemes came as a boon for women
The schemes of the Sai government have come as a boon for the farmers, women and tribal groups of Chhattisgarh. Fulfilling Modi’s guarantee of giving 2 years’ pending paddy bonus to the farmers, the government transferred a bonus amount of Rs 3716 crore to the bank accounts of 13 lakh farmers on Good Governance Day. Under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, the Sai government has made a lump sum payment of Rs 13,320 crore as the difference in the price of paddy to 24 lakh 75 thousand farmers of the state. Similarly, paddy purchase is also going on at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre, which has freed the farmer families of Chhattisgarh from the worry of money. To empower the tribal groups economically, the Sai government has increased the support price of Chhattisgarh’s green gold i.e. Tendu leaves from Rs 4000 per standard sack to Rs 5500 per standard sack. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than 70 lakh women are getting Rs 1000 every month. Till now, financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand 5 hundred 30 crores has been given to the beneficiaries under this scheme.
Schemes made people financially self-reliant
In Chhattisgarh, under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, financial assistance of up to Rs 25 lakh is being given to patients for treatment. Similarly, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is being provided to Ayushman card holders. These schemes have made the common people of Chhattisgarh financially self-reliant and provided them financial independence. Its effect is also visible in the lives of the people. They are getting a strong path to employment and progress.
