Chhattisgarh Nyay Yatra: PCC Chief Deepak Baij will start the journey from Girodpuri tomorrow, it will conclude in Raipur on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2

Raipur. Congress is once again preparing to corner the government on the issue of law and order in Chhattisgarh. The 6-day Nyay Yatra of Congress is starting from tomorrow i.e. 27 September under the leadership of State Congress President Deepak Baij. This Yatra will start from Param Pujya Baba Guru Ghasidas’ Tapobhoomi Girodpuri and will cover a distance of about 125 km and will reach Gandhi Chowk in the capital Raipur on 2 October on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gand

Let us tell you that this yatra will start with prayers and worship from Baba Guru Ghasidas Dham. Deepak Baij said that the main purpose of this yatra is to raise voice against the deteriorating law and order of the state and the atrocities against women. He said that the recent incidents of murders, looting, stabbing and robbery have created fear among the general public. During this yatra, Congress leaders will meet the general public and various social organizations.

The major issues of travel include-

  • Protest against the vandalism done to Jaitkham at Amar Cave in Girodpuri.
  • Protest against the arrest of innocent people in Baloda Bazar case.
  • Justice for the murder of three sons of Sahu community in Loharidih of Kawardha.
  • Demand for judicial investigation into the death of Prashant Sahu due to police torture.
  • Demand to register FIR against the guilty police officers.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that Girodpuri is the Tapabhoomi of the most revered Baba Guru Ghasidas, Baba Guru Ghasidas had given the message of Manke-Manke Ek Saman. He had given the message of unity, equality, harmony in the society, by taking out the Yatra from the abode of such a highly revered Baba, we are wishing for brotherhood, unity and crime-free Chhattisgarh and safety of every person in the state.
