Chhattisgarh: Insects found in country liquor bottle, alcoholics created ruckus, accused of selling adulterated liquor

Korba. A case of insects being found in liquor bottles has come to light in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. When alcoholics bought liquor from Rampur Desi liquor shop, they saw insects inside the bottle. This was seen not in one but in many bottles. After which the alcoholics started creating a ruckus outside the liquor shop. They say that along with insects, adulterated liquor is also being sold. Rameshwar Kumar, a resident of Amariya Para, said that he was going to work in Balko. During this time, he bought liquor from the Desi liquor shop located in Rampur. Where after buying liquor, at some distance, he saw a worm inside the bottle. Seeing which he was surprised and he complained about it to the manager of the Desi liquor shop.

Liquor lovers told that when they informed the salesman about finding a worm and the bottle lid being open, he was surprised to see it and he complained about it to the manager of the Desi liquor shop.

This is not the first case of worms and adulteration in liquor. Earlier also, such cases have been reported in many Desi and English liquor shops including Hardi Bazaar, Amreli. Regarding which the concerned department also took action.
