Chhattisgarh: Health services will stop from July 4, will protest for 6 point demands

Health services may come to a standstill in Chhattisgarh from July 4. Health workers across the state will be on indefinite strike. Under the banner of Health Employees Union of Chhattisgarh State, the employees are going on strike for their 6-point demands. Many health facilities may be badly affected by this indefinite strike. Because Radiographer, Medical Lab Technology, Eye Assistant Officer, OT Technician, Staff Nurse, Ward Boy, Aaya Bai will all be on strike. Santosh Dewangan, provincial convenor of the radiographer cell, told that for the last several years, he has taken his demands several times from the CM to the health minister and departmental officers. But the demands have not been fulfilled till now, many times one-day, three-day, symbolic strike was done but they kept giving empty assurances, if the demand was not fulfilled, then they were forced to go on an indefinite strike from July 4, 2023.
6 point demands of the employees-
– Radiation allowance which is Rs 50 from 30 years, which should be reduced to 10% of the basic pay.
– increase in the number of posts
– Radiation Leave
– post name change
– Promotion order should be made from 2800 to 4200
– four level pay scale
Along with this, the different cells associated with them also have 24 point demands for which they are going on an indefinite strike.
