Raipur: Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has received an invitation from the prestigious Stanford University of America to attend EPPI Con 2024. This conference will be held from 10 to 22 September. The Global Outreach Director of IIM Raipur has also been invited to this program. The health system will be discussed in the conference, in which special focus will be given on the goal of making Asha and Mitanin workers digitally literate.
Through this conference, along with discussing the health system of Chhattisgarh, work will be done on the plan to strengthen the primary health units of the state (Asha workers and Mitanin).
The main objective of the conference is to work towards making ASHA and Mitanin workers digitally literate (Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal) and to make them more capable by training them in collaboration with IIM, IIT, AIIMS and NNLU so that basic and trained health services are available at the lower level in the state.
Meanwhile, chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a tour of Bilaspur district today. As per the scheduled time, CM Sai will reach Bilaspur from Raipur Police Ground at 1.50 pm. He will attend the oath-taking ceremony of the District Advocates Association at Bilaspur District and Sessions Court. After the program, CM Sai will return to the capital Raipur at 4.40 pm.Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will be on a tour of Raigarh and Bilaspur districts today. Deputy CM Saw will go to Raigarh at 10.30 am, where he will launch the BJP membership campaign. At 1.30 pm, Deputy Chief Minister Saw will go from Raigarh to Bilaspur and will attend the oath taking ceremony of the District Advocates Association there. After this, he will meet the general public from 4.30 pm onwards.
