Vishnudev Sai took oath as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. He is the fourth tribal Chief Minister of the state and the first from BJP. Along with him, Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma also took oath as Deputy CMs in the ceremony held in the Science College campus. During this, many Union Ministers and Chief Ministers including PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah were present.

Now discussion has started on the names of future ministers of Sai Cabinet in the state. According to BJP and Raj Bhavan sources, the swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers of the Sai Cabinet can be held on December 16, because Kharmas is being held from 4 pm on the same day. Auspicious activities do not take place during Kharmas, hence the party wants to organize the program well in advance.

There was discussion that the party has finalized the names of the ministers, but after the swearing in of the Chief Minister, PM Modi gave the sealed envelope. According to party sources, this envelope contains the names of new ministers. After receiving the envelope, the party has started preparations afresh. The list of ministers reached Raj Bhavan late in the evening.
According to Raj Bhavan sources, the swearing-in ceremony of the ministers along with the CM and Deputy CM was to be held on December 13. This information was also sent to the Raj Bhavan Secretariat at 12:30 pm on Tuesday night. The list of ministers was made according to a veteran leader of the state. It is being said that this thing displeased the leaders sitting in Delhi.

He issued instructions to BJP leaders and got the list sent to Raj Bhavan rejected. PM Narendra Modi, who arrived at the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister on Wednesday, handed over a list in a closed envelope to the leaders of the state. According to BJP sources, the names of ministers are in this list. Instructions have been given to send this list to Raj Bhavan Secretariat.

Preparations were made to give cars to ministers
Amidst the speculations during the swearing-in ceremony, the government officials had also started preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of the ministers. The officials of the State Garage had also parked the vehicles provided by the government in the Science College campus in anticipation of the oath taking ceremony of the ministers.

Officials said that as soon as the swearing-in ceremony of the ministers takes place, as per protocol, they will have to be provided vehicles immediately. In view of this, vehicles were parked at the Science College ground from 9 am onwards. As soon as PM Modi arrived at 4 pm, the swearing-in ceremony of the CM and Deputy CM was completed in 9 minutes.

Swearing in ceremony will take place as soon as the Governor returns
According to Raj Bhavan Secretariat, Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan is going to Delhi on Wednesday night. They will return around 11 am on December 16. In such a situation, due to Kharmas, the oath taking ceremony can take place between 12 noon to 4 pm.

They may get a place in the cabinet
Brijmohan Agarwal, Vikram Usendi, Kedar Kashyap, Ramvichar Netam, Dharamlal Kaushik, OP Choudhary, Rajesh Munat, Amar Agarwal, Doman Lal Korsewada, Renuka Singh and Ajay Chandrakar may get a place.
