Raipur. Finance Minister OP Choudhary and Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan today participated in the progress discussion on policy for startup companies organized by the Electronics and IT Department in Naya Raipur. Addressing the discussion, Finance Minister OP Choudhary said, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the concept of developed Chhattisgarh on the lines of developed India has to be taken forward. Today is the era of innovation and knowledge, in which if someone has a better idea then no one can stop him from moving forward.
Minister Choudhary said that the slogan of Jai Anusandhan given by PM Modi is not just a slogan but a thought and an idea, which we all have to take forward together. The result of this is that a provision for interest-free loan of Rs 1 lakh crore for 50 years has been made in the budget for innovation and startups. Chaudhary said that the Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, has set a target of establishing 6 thousand IT professionals in Nava Raipur in the next one year. Nava Raipur will emerge as a hub of IT, business conference and wedding center in the next five years. Addressing the discussion, Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said that if even a small industry is established, many people get employment. The government is working on a new industrial policy and in this policy, work is being done on policies for the benefit of more and more industries along with startups. Dewangan said that serious work is being done on how the established industries can work better. To provide more facilities to startups and industries in the state, the advice of more and more people will be taken in the new industrial policy.
On this occasion, Principal Secretary of Electronics and Information Technology Department Niharika Barik, Secretary of Commerce and Industry Department Abduk Cashar Haq, Chief Executive Officer of Naya Raipur Development Authority Saurabh Kumar, Commissioner of Commercial Tax (GST) Rajat Bansal, Chief Executive Officer of CHIPS Ritesh Kumar Aggarwal, IIM Director Dr. Ram Kakani, educationist Jawahar Surisethi and many senior administrative officials were present.
