All these are quarantine laborers from outside in different districts of the state. 90% of cases of infection are from workers from Maharashtra and Gujarat. Talking about statistics, 80 new cases have been reported in 6 days of lockdown phase-4. 50 new patients arrived in the first 45 days, after that the figure reached 153 in just 25 days. At the same time, the state government has made 6000 beds for the corona infected.

The total figure of corona infects in the state has reached 173. For the first time, active cases have crossed 100. The first patient of Corona in the state was found in Raipur on 18 March. That means Corona took only 67 days to travel from one to 172 in the state. However, 62 patients have also recovered and gone home. Most of the cases are of migrant workers. For this, a meeting of top officials of the Health Department has already taken place from the IMA. There are 6 government medical colleges, 28 district hospitals and more than 150 CHCs in the state. Isolated wards have been prepared for the infected according to the capacity everywhere.

Patients of Surguja division will be admitted to Ambikapur. Patients of Jashpur will be treated at Raigad Medical College. Patients of Bastar division will be admitted in Jagdalpur Medical College and Mana, Raipur and Durg divisions, besides AIIMS, Ambedkar and Mana. In view of the possibility of increasing the patients, doctors of all departments are being trained with the management of treatment. Health Minister TS Singhdeo said that we have gathered adequate facilities in a very short time. Considering the increasing number of workers, more are arranging beds. For this, beds will also be arranged in private hospitals in future.

Chief Minister gives 10-10 lakhs amount to hospitals of every block

The state government has released a grant amount of Rs 10 lakh each to the hospitals of every block in the context of increasing the concentration zone. In this, Raipur, Dhamtari, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Dantewada, Bijapur and Bilaspur districts 40-40 lakhs, Gariaband, Mahasamund, Balod, Kondagaon, Korba and Korea 50-50, Baloda Bazar Bhatapara, Balrampur- Ramanujganj and Surajpur 60-60 , Durg, Sukma, Mungeli and Gorella-Pendra-Marwahi for 30-30, Rajnandgaon, Janjgir-Champa and Raigad 90-90, Bastar, Kanker and Sarguja 70-70, Narayanpur for Rs 20 lakh and Jashpur for Rs 80 lakh The amount has been approved.

Bank closed from today to Monday, online transactions only
Banks that remain open even during lockdown will be closed for three consecutive days from Saturday to Monday. People will not be able to do any transaction with banks for three days. But the facility of online will continue. ATMs will be open to withdraw cash. May 23 is the fourth Saturday of the month, so banks will remain closed. Sunday will be a normal holiday. On Monday, the official holiday of Eidul ul Fitr has been declared, so banks will remain closed on that day. Therefore, banks will be operational from Tuesday itself. Bank management has indicated that ATMs will not be filled in these three days.
