The last meeting of the G-20 Framework Working Group in Nava Raipur under the chairmanship of India discussed the risks and challenges of the world economy on Tuesday. It was agreed that how the global economy can be strengthened based on the updates of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In the meeting, 65 representatives from 20 countries spoke on the draft of balanced and inclusive development.
The Reserve Bank of India stressed that the brainstorming of G-20 should be focused on the common people and now emphasis on public participation programs is necessary. This includes benefits for the general public, students and self-help groups. In this meeting that lasted for two days in Nava Raipur, India was represented by Finance Ministry Advisor Chandni Raina and Britain was represented by Sam Beckett, Chief Economic Advisor of the Treasury.
The meeting was attended by representatives of member countries of the group as well as international and regional organizations. It was told that this year the group has released two reports. These reports are based on the economic impacts of food and energy insecurity and the economic risks posed by climate change. Members said it is important to continue discussions to assess the macroeconomic consequences of global challenges.

Representatives of the Framework Working Group visited Nandanvan on Tuesday and also saw migratory birds in Khandwa Reservoir. Earlier, a ‘Dinner Dialogue’ was organized for the delegates and top officials. During this, the guests enjoyed the delicious dishes of Chhattisgarh. After this, Chhattisgarhi folk dance was also presented.
