There are chances of light to moderate rain in all divisions of the state including Raipur on April 7 and 8. An alert has also been issued regarding thunderstorms and hailstorm at one or two places.
Temperature crosses 40 degrees in these districts
The maximum temperature in 5 districts of Chhattisgarh has crossed 40 degrees. The day’s temperature in Raipur was 41.5 degrees. The maximum temperature recorded was 41.3 degrees in Rajnandgaon, 40.6 degrees in Durg, 40.6 degrees in Bilaspur and 40.3 degrees in Jagdalpur.
Night temperature started increasing
Along with the maximum temperature, the minimum temperature is also continuously increasing in the state. The night temperature has now started reaching beyond 25 degrees. The night temperature in Raipur was recorded at 26.9 degrees on Friday. At the same time, the temperature was recorded at 27 degrees in Rajnandgaon, 25.6 degrees in Jagdalpur, 24.6 degrees in Durg and 24 degrees in Bilaspur.
