Chances of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh: Meteorological Department issued orange-yellow alert, so far 36% less rainfall in the state

Raipur. The Meteorological Department has issued orange and yellow alert in Chhattisgarh. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Surguja and its adjoining divisions till June 30. The districts of Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Bastar divisions are cloudy since morning and it is raining lightly at some places and moderately at others. The highest rainfall in Chhattisgarh on Saturday was recorded in Bijapur at 230 mm. Nagari received 90 mm, Bhatapara 80 mm, Baloda Bazar, Jagdalpur, Patan 70 mm, Dornapal, Tongpal, Bastar, Chhindgarh received 60 mm, Ambikapur, Chhotedongar, Gangalore, Suhela received 50 mm, Jagargunda, Akaltara, Bhairamgarh, Manpur, Bhopalpatnam received 40 mm of rain.
