Lalluram.com had exposed corruption
Let us tell you that how CGMSC of the Health Department has emptied the treasury of Chhattisgarh through Mokshit Corporation during the Congress regime, was revealed in the ‘Audit Observation Report’ of just two years. According to the audit report, fraud of crores has been done. This entire matter was exposed by Lalluram.com. Regarding this entire matter, Principal Accountant General (Audit) IAS Yashwant Kumar of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department had written a letter to Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Pingya regarding the scam of Rs 660 crores.
The truth was revealed in a two-year audit
When the audit team scrutinized the documents of the financial year 2022-24 and 2023-24 regarding the supply of medicines and equipment of CGMSC, the company had made purchases worth Rs 660 crore without budget allocation, which was caught by the audit team. The audit has found that in the last two years, rules and regulations were also circumvented in order to consume the chemicals and equipment purchased in excess of the requirement. The chemicals and machines were also supplied to the hospitals where they were not needed. Supplies were made to 776 primary health centers of the state, out of which more than 350 primary health centers are such in which no technical, manpower and storage facilities were available. According to the audit team, DHS had issued a demand letter for equipment and reagents without conducting a baseline survey and gap analysis in health care facilities.
A case has also been registered against the officials of the health department
In its FIR, EOW has also registered a crime against the top officials of the health department. Serious comments have been made on the health director and MD of CGMSC in the FIR. After this FIR, it is believed that many top officials may come under the purview of investigation. There is talk that people involved in this scam will be arrested soon. In the initial investigation of EOW, this fact has also come to light that the government was duped of billions of rupees with the connivance of the officials.
