AE Sandeep Soni had informed the employees about the power supply being cut off during the shifting, but when Santosh touched the part of the wire attached to the transformer, current was flowing in it, due to which Santosh died.

The tribal community had submitted a memorandum to the collector, terming the incident as the negligence of the AE. They had also warned of agitation in case no action was taken against the responsible officer.
