According to the information, the festival of Hariyali Amavasya turned into mourning on Sunday morning when a young man died and two other companions were seriously injured due to the attack of a female bear. It is being told that in the morning Chhab Lal (28 years) along with his two other village companions had gone inside the forests of Badrodi to collect tendu branches for their respective fields due to Hariyali Amavasya festival.
During this time, they encountered a female bear roaming in the forest with her children. Before the three could understand anything, the female bear suddenly attacked them. The bear scratched all the three women badly, some villagers ran away from the sudden attack and saved their lives. Chhabalal, a 28-year-old youth seriously injured by the bear attack, died on the spot. Two seriously injured villagers Ghasiram and Santlal were brought to Marwahi CHC through 108 Sanjeevani Express. Where, seeing their critical condition, they were referred to the district hospital. On receiving the information of the incident, the forest department team has started treating the injured and taking further action.
