Bilaspur. A case of gang rape has come to light in the court, where the husband’s friend along with another associate gang-raped the woman. According to the information received, the accused called the woman and her husband to his house to meet them, and mixed intoxicants in their food and made both of them unconscious. Then the incident took place. Three months after the incident, a 28-year-old woman resident of Durg has written a report. This matter is of Sarkanda police station area.
The woman, a resident of Durg, told the police that her husband was friends with Sunil, a resident of Bandhwapara, Bilaspur. Sunil called him to Bilaspur to meet him in January. The woman’s husband came to Bilaspur with her and the child on 28 January. After the meeting, Sunil took them to his home, where everyone had dinner together at night.
The woman alleges that Sunil mixed some intoxicating substance in her food, due to which the woman and her husband fell asleep unconscious. After this, Sunil called another friend of his, then both of them took the woman to another room and gang-raped her. The woman says that she was in a bad mood, so she could not resist him. When she regained consciousness, she came to know about the rape by accused Sunil and his partner, but fearing defamation, she did not say anything to anyone and went back to Durg with her husband and child. Later the woman informed her husband about the incident and after three months she reached Sarkanda police station, where on the basis of the woman’s report, a crime was registered against both the youths and the police is investigating the matter.
