Raipur. IPS Jitendra Singh Meena of Chhattisgarh cadre has been made Deputy Inspector General of CBI. The Central Government has issued an order and handed over the responsibility to Jitendra Meena. Jitendra Singh Meena is a 2007 batch IPS officer. Senior Indian Police Service officer Jitendra Singh Meena has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The Central Government has issued orders and appointed 4 IPS officers including Jitendra Singh Meena. Meena, a 2007 batch IPS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, has been appointed in CBI for a period of five years. Apart from him, four other Superintendents of Police in CBI are Vinayak Verma (Madhya Pradesh cadre), Achal Tyagi (Gujarat cadre) and Praveen Kumar. (Gujarat Cadre) has been appointed for five years.
Indian Revenue Service officer Gaurav Mittal has been appointed SP for a period of 4 years.
Let us tell you that before this, Chhattisgarh cadre IPS Amit Kumar has held the responsibility of SP, DIG and Joint Director (Policy) in CBI.
