Raipur. The winter session of Chhattisgarh Assembly is starting from today. This session will run from 19 to 21 December. There will be a total of 3 meetings in the three-day session. The new MLAs will take oath on the first day of the winter session. Protem Speaker Ramvichar Netam will administer the oath to the assembly members. Assembly Speaker will be elected. The Governor’s address will be held at 11 am on the second day of the session. The government will bring a supplementary budget of Rs 10 thousand crores.
The government will bring a supplementary budget of Rs 10 thousand crore in the winter session. This supplementary budget will be presented for 3 schemes. In which there will be a supplementary budget of Rs 2500 crore for 2 years’ outstanding bonus of farmers, Rs 3 thousand crore for PM Awas Yojana, Rs 500 crore for Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Security increased in the Assembly after the incident in Parliament.
The police administration is prepared for the assembly session. 600 police personnel will be deployed for security in the assembly. Preparations to deploy a large number of police forces for the first time to ensure that there is no lapse in security. After the incident in Parliament, the security of the Assembly has also been increased.
