There is an atmosphere of happiness among the Congressmen after the victory in the Karnataka elections. This happiness was also seen in Raipur. Drums were ordered and Congress workers and leaders were seen dancing to their tune. Sweets were called for and all the leaders were seen sweetening each other’s faces. State President of the party Mohan Markam distributed sweets to the workers at his residence office. He said that this is the beginning of the downfall of the BJP. This is the message of the people of Karnataka that now Congress will manage the whole country. This is the historic victory of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who walked about 4000 km from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in the Bharat Jodo Padyatra. This victory for the unity, integrity and brotherhood of the country is the victory of the message of that brotherhood. Markam further said- BJP’s Modi government does politics of hatred, politics of religion, politics in the name of community but BJP’s plans were not fulfilled, people of Karnataka told that this country belongs to all religions and all classes. The people there have voted on the agenda of development. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge is son of soil, son of soil of Karnataka. The BJP had conspired to kill his family. By voting against the BJP, the people have shown that they have responded to the conspiracies of the BJP. Bajrang Bhakt became Congressman
After the mention of banning Bajrang Dal in the Congress manifesto at the time of elections, the electoral atmosphere in Karnataka had changed. The BJP kept presenting this issue by linking it with the insult of Bajrang Bali. Now as soon as the results are out, Congress leaders are chanting Bajrang Bali everywhere. The slogan of Jai Bajrang Bali continued to be raised in the state office Rajiv Bhawan in Raipur. After the victory, the Congress leaders took out a procession at the Bajrangbali temple in Kondagaon, taking blessings from Lord Bajrangbali, in which children were made Bajrangbali. State President Mohan Markam was also involved in this procession.
Congress benefited from Bharat Jodo Yatra
The 7 districts of Karnataka that Rahul Gandhi’s yatra passed through comprise 48 assembly seats. If seen, after the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul’s first major election test was to be held in Karnataka. In the 2018 assembly elections, Congress had won only 15 out of 48 assembly seats in these 7 districts. While BJP won 17 seats, JDS 14 and others 2 seats. But this time Congress has won 32 out of these 48 seats. That is, double the seats were obtained as compared to 2018.
