CBSE has canceled the recognition of 20 schools across the country including Chhattisgarh. These also include two schools of Raipur. CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta said that there are allegations of illegal conduct in these schools as well as giving admission to dummy students.
The schools of Chhattisgarh on which CBSE has taken action on Friday are said to be Dronacharya Public School operating in Rajendra Nagar area of Raipur and Vaikan School operating in the assembly area.

CBSE Board officials said that the recognition of the schools was canceled on Friday. Evidence of admission to dummy students and ineligible candidates has been found in them. In the past, when such complaints were received, schools were inspected across the country. After the investigation, action was taken against those schools where deficiencies were found.
First action after state formation
For the first time after the creation of Chhattisgarh state, CBSE has taken action to cancel the recognition of schools. To control the arbitrariness of private schools, CBSE appoints nodals in every district. On the basis of the reports of these nodals and the report of the committee, action regarding school recognition is taken by CBSE.
What is dummy student-dummy school
Such students take admission in class 11th in schools, but prepare for engineering and medical by studying in coaching throughout the year. These students are called dummy students. The schools where these students take admission are called dummy schools. The racket of dummy students and dummy schools was running on a large scale across the country apart from Chhattisgarh. After receiving continuous complaints, CBSE has investigated and taken action.
I did not receive the notice, it came to light from outside
During the discussion with the school management officials said that till now no notice of cancellation of recognition has been received from the board. The cancellation of recognition has come to light from outside. It is not clear on what basis the action has been taken. After receiving the notice, correspondence will be done with the board.
