Congress held a press conference today at Rajiv Bhawan, the state Congress headquarters in the capital Raipur. During this, Congress leaders told that 5 justice guarantees have been given to the people for the Lok Sabha elections. Congress said that this time if Congress government is formed, women will get Rs 1 lakh every year. BJP government gives Rs 1000 to women, but Congress will give Rs 8333 per month. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana will be redesigned to ensure guaranteed payment directly into the bank accounts of farmers within 30 days in case of crop loss. Congress will formulate and implement an import-export policy for agricultural products, in which protecting the interests and concerns of farmers will be paramount. It will be stable and predictable as well as based on the interests of the farmers. Farmers will be GST free. The GST system will be amended to exempt goods used in agriculture from tax.
