Bahujan Samaj Party and Gondwana Gantantra Party have formed an electoral alliance for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. After this, they will field their candidates on all the seats in the state. Under the alliance, BSP will contest on 53 seats and Gondwana Republic Party on 37 seats.

On Monday, at Raipur’s Guru Ghasidas Cultural Building, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Central Coordinator and Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Gautam and Gondwana Gantantra Party (Gongpa) National General Secretary Shyam Singh Markam held a joint press conference and gave information about the party’s alliance. BSP leader Ramji Gautam said that our party is a party that works with Dalits and tribal backward classes for their rights to water and forests. Similarly, Gongpa is also a party fighting for the rights of tribals. The ideology of both the parties matches. Therefore, this time we will form our own government in Chhattisgarh which will work for the people.

He said, the people of the state have seen the rule of BJP and Congress. Today the people here are worried as the youth are not getting jobs. Nor are good health facilities available. To overcome all these problems, both the parties have formed an alliance. Tribal Chief Minister will be made in Chhattisgarh.

National General Secretary of Gongpa Shyam Singh said that both the parties believe in the Constitution. But the rights and entitlements given by the Constitution are not being implemented properly even after 76 years of independence. That’s why we are contesting the elections this time together as a party. In the coming time, we will make a tribal Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh.

BSP has already declared candidates on 9 seats

Bahujan Samaj Party has announced 9 candidates in the month of August before the alliance with Gondwana Gantantra Party. In this, candidates have been fielded on Masturi, Navagarh, Janjgir Champa, Jaijapur, Pamgarh, Akaltara, Bilaigarh, Beltara and Samari assembly seats.
