Chhattisgarh’s tribal leader Nandkumar Sai was angry over not being invited to Home Minister Amit Shah’s program in Bastar and accused the BJP organization of neglecting tribal leaders in the special show Chal Theke. Politics intensified after the news of Sai’s displeasure.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had said that Nandkumar Sai was absolutely right. BJP ignores tribal leaders. CM Baghel had said that, be it Baliram Kashyap, Nankiram Kanwar, Vishnudev Sai, Nandkumar Sai, all the tribal leaders were marginalised.

In Desi Talk, tribal leader Nandkumar Sai had said that Amit Shah had come to Bastar, but I did not get the information about it. If you had called me, I would have definitely gone. Whereas, when he came to Korba, I was also called and I participated in the program, but this time not being invited to the program in Bastar is beyond comprehension.

Nandkumar Sai had said that there is a need to put old leaders on duty to fix Bastar. Tribal leaders are constantly being neglected in the BJP organization. Vishnudev Sai was removed from the post of State President on the very day of World Tribal Day.
