Shakti . Former Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Keshav Chandra joined BJP on Monday. Along with Keshav, 3,831 people also took membership of BJP. BJP State President Kiran Singh Dev and Cabinet Minister OP Chaudhary admitted Keshav Chandra into BJP.
It is noteworthy that Keshav Chandra has been MLA from Jaijaipur assembly constituency twice. Keshav Chandra had won this seat in the 2013 and 2018 assembly elections. In the year 2018, Keshav Chandra defeated BJP candidate Kailash Sahu by more than 21 thousand votes. Keshav Chandra has a good support base in Jaijaipur area.
