Bilaspur. There was a fierce fight between two groups of students in Guru Ghasidas Central University (GGU), in which two students were seriously injured. It is alleged that on the instructions of the HOD of the Physical Education Department, some students beat up other students of the university.
According to the information received, some students from the university were going to participate in a sports competition in another state. Meanwhile, other students also reached to meet the Vice Chancellor demanding to go. But the university administration refused to let them go saying that there was no fund. Angered by this, the students stood near the VC’s car and started protesting. During this, the HOD of the Physical Education Department asked the students of his department to remove the protesting students. After this, there was a tussle between the two groups and then a scuffle started. Two students have been seriously injured in the incident, who have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
