Raipur. Intensifying the action, ACB/EOW has arrested former Special Secretary of Excise Department, AP Tripathi, in the excise scam case. FIR has been registered against Tripathi in EOW. Earlier, ACB/EOW had arrested Arvind Singh and Anwar DhebarAccording to the information, in the case of liquor scam worth two thousand crores, EOW has arrested Special Secretary of Excise Department Arunpati Tripathi from Bihar, from where he is now being brought to Raipur. Arunpati Tripathi has been considered by EOW as the main character of the syndicate in the liquor scam case.

Let us tell you that AP Tripathi had come on deputation to Chhattisgarh during the tenure of Dr. Raman Singh as the Chief Minister. Even at that time, his service was taken in the Excise Department. After the change of government, discussions were going on about the departure of AP Tripathi in the Bhupesh Baghel government, but suddenly Tripathi was made the policy maker of the Excise Department as Special Secretary.
