Raipur . The election program was released by the State Election Commission on 20 January 2025 for the election and by-elections 2025 for the posts of Mayor, Chairman and Councilor of municipalities in Chhattisgarh. With the announcement of the program, the Model Code of Conduct came into effect in the respective urban areas. Voting was completed on 11 February in 173 urban bodies of the state. After the completion of counting of votes today on 15 February, the State Election Commission has declared the Model Code of Conduct ineffective only in
the constituencies of municipalities.
