The wish of a blind student Parmeshwar Sahu, resident of Kachna, Raipur, for a laptop has been fulfilled in just one week. After reaching Jan Chaupal on 5th February, Parmeshwar had demanded a laptop from Collector Gaurav Kumar Singh. On Tuesday, the laptop was given by the Social Welfare Department through the District Destitute Fund.
While demanding a laptop in Jan Chaupal, Parmeshwar Sahu had said that he finds it inconvenient to study on mobile. For studies, a laptop with more RAM and storage is needed. After hearing the demand of the student, the Collector had given instructions to the concerned department officials to help him immediately. Parameshwara was preparing to go to college when he got a call from the Collectorate office that his application given at Jan Chaupal had been accepted and he could get his laptop from the Collectorate.
He was very happy to get the information and reached the Collectorate premises with his brother and received the laptop from the Collector. Collector Dr. Singh advised them to make good use of the laptop and perform well in studies and also wished them all the best for their bright future.
God will run the laptop through special software
Blind Parmeshwar completed his B.A. at Digvijay College, Rajnandgaon. Studying first semester. He needed a laptop with a good processor for studies, but due to poor financial condition at home, he was not able to buy a laptop.
While talking to Parmeshwar, Collector Gaurav Singh asked how will he be able to use the laptop? Then God told that he would use the laptop through a special software. The blind gives commands by speaking through that software. And the laptop’s software starts giving him lectures on identity related subjects.
Parmeshwar told that earlier he used to study through mobile, but due to the large files of study material, there was difficulty in studying on mobile. Now he will not have any trouble in studying.
While thanking the collector, Parmeshwar said that getting the laptop will make his college studies easier and will also help in preparing for competitive examinations.
