Anopchand-Tilokchand Jewelers located in Sadar Bazaar, Raipur suffered a blast due to AC compressor burst. As soon as the explosion occurred, a fire broke out nearby. The fire was brought under control with the help of fire brigade. There is no information about any casualty in this accident.
Actually, around 3:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon, staff and some customers were present in the jewelers shop located in Kotwali police station area. Then suddenly the compressor unit of the 5 ton air conditioner installed in the shop exploded. The staff and all the employees present there were immediately evacuated.
Fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control
After this incident, the staff informed the fire brigade and police. The Kotwali police team along with the fire brigade staff brought the fire under control within a short time. At present the police is investigating further.
